What is a LTACH?
 

LTACH stands for “long-term acute care hospital.”  LTACHs provide specialized care services for patients requiring extended medical care and rehabilitation.  Those with catastrophic or acute illnesses and injuries can work toward recovery.  These patients require a longer hospitalization—the average length of stay at the St. Francis LTACH is approximately 25 days.

 

We provide:

¨ 24 Hour Respiratory Therapy On-site

¨ Tracheostomy Decannulation

¨ IV / TPN

¨ Insulin Drip

¨ Blood Transfusions

¨  Telemetry/Cardiac Drips

¨ PICC Line Placements

¨ Isolation Rooms

¨ Multi-Specialty Physicians

¨ Hospital Services
